• Tax-related data: Income, deductions, occupation, industry, and answers to our assessment questions — used solely to calculate your tax estimate and identify deduction opportunities.
• Account information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address.
• Payment information: Processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card details.
• Usage data: Pages visited, referrer, device type, and browser — collected anonymously for analytics.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To generate your tax estimate and deduction report.
• To save your calculations so you can return to them later (if signed in).
• To improve our AI models and question accuracy.
• To send you relevant product updates (only if you opt in).

3. Data Sharing

We never sell, rent, or share your personal or tax data with third parties. The only exceptions:

• Stripe: Processes payments securely. View Stripe's privacy policy.
• Railway: Our hosting provider that may process data as part of infrastructure operations.
• Legal requirements: If required by Australian law or court order.

4. Data Security

All data is transmitted over 256-bit SSL encryption. Your tax data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database with access controls. We follow industry best practices for data protection.

5. Data Retention

Your tax calculations are retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us. Anonymous analytics data may be retained indefinitely in aggregate form.

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:
